Dr. Megan Braiman is a board-certified family physician who strives to create an open, supportive environment where patients feel heard and empowered in their care. Originally from Los Angeles, she made the cross-country leap for her undergraduate studies, earning a B.A. in epidemiology from the University of Rochester, where her passion for preventive health first took root. She then went on to earn her medical degree from Albany Medical College.
Dr. Braiman completed her family medicine residency at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, where she served as Chief Resident. During her training, she worked on initiatives addressing homelessness, addiction care, and equitable access to reproductive and preventive health. She brings this commitment to social medicine into every patient interaction, emphasizing practical, achievable ways to promote health and prevent illness.
In her free time, Dr. Braiman enjoys exploring parks and new restaurants with her husband and young son, as well as visiting bookstores and coffee shops, where she loves to read fantasy and thriller novels. Dr. Braiman is excited to join City Care Family Practice and looks forward to building lasting relationships with her patients, partnering with them to help achieve their health goals.
